Creating and Managing Your Catalog

 
 
 
 
 
 
You can build a Commerce catalog in your Camilyo platform, compiled of products and services your business offers, whether online via an Ecommerce shop (created using Camilyo Builder) or offline in a brick and mortar shop. If you have built a Commerce Camilyo site, by using a Commerce template, or by adding Commerce pages to a regular site, the catalog will automatically be connected to your site and products/services presented

To create a catalog, log into your account and go to the Catalog tab

To create categories and products you can click on the Categories & Products box in the main dashboard categories_products_dashboard.JPG

or click on Categories & Products from the top right menu under Catalog

Categories

Main Category

Create a new main category by clicking on the + Add Main Category button, and fill in all the relevant fields in the Main properties and SEO tabs, including name, image, descriptions and texts, redirect URLs, friendly URL, etc. You can also set how many products appear on the category page and set the category visibility status

To save the category click on Add

Sub Category

Create a new sub-category by clicking in the + sign next to the relevant main category and fill in all the relevant fields in the Main properties and SEO tabs, including name, image, descriptions and texts, redirect URLs, friendly URL, etc. You can also set how many products appear on the category page and set the category visibility status

To save the category click on Add

Products

Create a new product by clicking on the + New Product button from the main Categories and Products page or from a specific category after clicking on it

Basic Settings

Properties
Fill in all the relevant fields in the Properties tab, including name, image, catalog number (if relevant), list and final prices, inventory type and descriptions, to show up on the product page on your site. You can also define if you would like your product to appear on the site, in showcase and in XMLs by checking the relevant boxes next to the options

In order to choose the categories this product will be connected to, go to the Categories tab and check the boxes next to the relevant categories

Advanced Settings

Click on the Advanced button on the top right corner of the product settings page in order to access additional settings options:

Deliveries
Here you can set the settings for your delivery methods

Here you can edit your product attributes, which are descriptions that define types of products, for example, color variations. You set the attributes from the Configuration settings in the right top menu, by clicking on Products Attributes. For more information click here

Once you set an attribute in the Configuration menu, you can go to a specific product settings and choose the relevant attribute variation under the Attributes tab

Click on Update to save your changes
Parameters
Here you can set different parameters for your product pricing, for example, different prices for color variations

Click on “Add” to insert a new parameter option

Once you set the settings for your product parameter click on Add. You can add as many parameters as you need per product

Here you can set specific SEO settings for your product, including a friendly URL, title, description and redirect URLs

Additionals
Here you can offer complementary products to a specific product, by using the search box to locate and choose the additional product. After setting the additionals for your products, you'd be able to present them in the site. For example, you can offer a cat food bowl for a user who is interested in purchasing cat food

Similars
Here you can offer substitute products to a specific product, by using the search box to locate and choose the similar product. After setting the similars for your products, you'd be able to present them in the site. For example, you can offer a cat play ball for a user who is interested in purchasing a cat activity mat

All Products List

Once you create products in your catalog, you can view the full list under Categories & Products.
You can view the products as a list list icon.JPG, or as a grid grid icon.JPG, by clicking on these icons on the top right corner. The order of the products can only be set specifically from a category, and not from this list.
You can access the All Products list also by clicking on Show All Products from the left category navigation menu

You can edit you products from the list itself or by clicking on a product and opening the product settings page.
In the list, you can edit the product Name and Price by hovering on the fields and overwriting them. In addition, you can choose if the product will appear in the Showcase list or not, set it's visibility Status, and perform additional actions: Edit, Duplicate, Create Promotion and Delete the product

Grid

Each product in the grid is presented with it's Name, List Price, Final Price and Inventory status. You can click on the product box in order to edit the product settings. In addition, hovering over the product box, will present you with actionable icons that allow you to Edit, Duplicate, Create Promotion and Delete the specific product

Products List in a Category

In order to open the products list in a category, locate the category in the left category navigation menu and click on the category name

You can view the products as a list list icon.JPG, or as a grid grid icon.JPG, by clicking on these icons on the top right corner. In both options you can set the order of the products in the category, simply by clicking on this icon drag and dragging the product to another location on the list

Grid

Each product in the grid is presented with it's Name, List Price, Final Price and Inventory status. You can click on the product box in order to edit the product settings. In addition, hovering over the product box, will present you with actionable icons that allow you to Move, Edit, Duplicate, Create Promotion and Delete the specific product
To enter the Showcase panel, click on the Showcase box in the main dashboard showcase_box.JPG or click on Catalog from the top right menu and choose Showcase

All the products you set up to appear as showcase will be presented here. You can set a product to appear as showcase from the main Categories & Products page (presented as a list only), from a specific category settings page (presented as a list only) or from the product page directly:

In the main Categories & Products page and the specific category page, go to the product you want to add to the showcase list and click on the box under the Showcase column in order to mark it with a V. You can remove the V by clicking on the box again

In the product page, go to the bottom of the page and click on the box next to Show in Showcase in order to mark it with a V. You can remove the V by clicking on the box again

To save your changes click on Update
To enter the Inventory panel, click on the Inventory box in the main dashboard inventory_box.JPG or click on Catalog from the top right menu and choose Inventory

This panel presents the inventory status of all the products in your catalog and allows you to manage the products directly from the products list. You can set a product's inventory to be unlimited, or set a specific number of items per product. The status of items will get updated according to the purchases done by customers, via channels connected to this catalog (commerce site / deals / etc.)
